Hi MissFrill, most of it looked like sun glare to me. The two spots on r1 had me wondering, but they tracked with the sun angle too. The picture you grabbed 8-21 of the smoke btwn r1 & r2 back on pg 2 was one I thought got lost in the changes. I saw it briefly that night but you were they only other one to mention it. I thought it looked like a steam/smoke emission from the seaside opening in r2. Only a few of us left, you, Majia, and I are the only ones still posting webcam observations, hang in there, we annoy tepco with the truth, even if few are watching. I found some lights in r1 that I don't think are just equipment lights, so to figure it out I've started tracking these striped lights. Keep an eye out for them. 9-7 striped lights caferadlab.com/thread-99-post-535.html#pid535

I thought the colors on the vid were interesting because I hadn't seen those 'sun effects' before on sunny day vids. It coukld be some glare protection has worn off the camera window/glass. The reason I still avoid the ENE cam forum is my comments go zipping off to weeks or months earlier slots. I enjoyed looking at your new forum. My screen captures (summer & fall 2015) are here (in date order) - flyingcuttlefish.wordpress.com/fukushima-info/fuk-july/You can copy any image for reuse or just right click on it for the image url.

TY, MissFrill, those were interesting 'sun dogs', photographers avoid shooting into the sun because of that glare. I could have made a clip,'ufo lands on r3, energy beam scans the sfp', it looked that weird. TX for the link to your photo collection. You're welcome to use any of my photos as well. You're a keen observer, you're welcome to anything you want from my recordings.
The ENE cam forum is a big loss to the community. Still useful for shouting out to that readership. If you reply to the last message, your post will go to the bottom. No way to reply to any other post without flying back into past pages, limiting conversation. I decided not to waste too much time over there because we need to let other people know that the Daiichi disaster is not over.
