I thought this would be a great way for us all to share ways that we can protect ourselves and loved ones (pets included) against the effects of radiation. I have spent many hours researching alternative health, and would like to hear what others have found in there search to protect and heal themselves.

I have yet to get the Dandelion Tea that Dana has told us about countless times, but will be getting some soon. In the meantime, I have found Diatomaceous Earth and Calcium Bentonite; it can be stirred into a drink of orange juice or tomato juice; shame on me, but my favorite drink to mix it in is chocolate milk. It mixes up easily in the chocolate milk, and using a straw gets the earth from the bottom of the glass very well. Tomorrow I will be mixing it into brownies to bake up, for a healthy, yummy snack each day. I do make doggy cookies with the earth and clay, and give one to each of my Great Danes, and a quarter of a cookie to each of the Chihuahuas and Chinese Cresteds every day. (one of the cookies is about a heaping tablespoon of the earth and clay) ...Anyone wanting my recipe can message me, and I'll give it to ya. Diatomaceous earth removes Heavy Metals from the body, which include: - Actinium
- Thorium
- Uranium
- Radium
- Transuraniums; such as Plutonium, Americium, etc.
- Polonium
- Cobalt-60
- Strontium-90
Calcium Bentonite removes harmful positive ions from the body: Positive ions are also known as free radicals. Free radicals can damage cells and are thought to be responsible for degenerative health conditions, accelerated aging and even cancer. Positive ions are what comprise toxins, impurities, viruses and pollutants... ALL RADIOACTIVE ISOTOPES are POSITIVE ions. The earth I have found is sold at most Tractor Supply Stores throughout the USA, and the bag I get is called "Red Earth" It is a deep, natural deposit from British Columbia that contains BOTH Diatomaceous earth & Calcium Bentonite, and is both Food Grade, and Feed Grade Codex, so it is good for your pets as well. I take a heaping tablespoon each day, in my yummy chocolate milk. (with a straw) lolol As far as keeping my immune system strong, I make Kombucha Tea, and drink a big wine goblet of that every evening, after dinner. I also make colloidal silver, and take a teaspoon every morning. ...And no, it does not turn you blue; that was the Shills for the big pharma corporations spreading that, so we would be afraid of it, and continue using their expensive drugs. Have been doing some studying about restructuring water, and will soon be structuring the distilled water I use to make my colloidal silver with, as well as restructuring the tap water from my well, and keeping it chilled in the fridge for drinking. Dandelion Tea will soon be my afternoon and evening sipping-drink of choice.

I just received my first batch of dandelion tea last week, I think it tastes kind of like peanuts. Pretty good stuff. I make my own colloidal silver as well. Have been making it for about a year now and take an ounce almost every day, still not blue either!! I'm going to look into the Red Earth that you get Kate, I've been buying the Terramin Brand, quite expensive thought, about $100 for an 8 lb bag. Really good stuff though. I've also starting making my own liposomal vitamin c, now this stuff is amazing....it's even better than IV administered vitamin C of which about 20% gets into the cells, where as liposomal vitamin c delivers 90% to your cells. I take about an ounce of this most days as well. I'm interested in the doggie cookies for my 2 buddies, I'll be messaging you for the recipe.

Wow! That is expensive! Get the earth from Tractor Supply. It's under 15 bucks for a BIG 20 lb sack; like a sack of flour. I'll reply your message with my dog cookie recipe after Dana's live show tonight.

About 2 mos. ago Dana did a whole show just on the health topic. By popular demand I think a link to it should be on the home page of BGBD yu t00b channel. It needs to be easy for new viewers to find and saves duplicating answers to questions.

I am now going to start studying on how to make the liposomal vitamin C, so I can make it too. Thanks so much for the info.
Anyway, instead of putting my doggy cookie recipe in a message, I'll put it right here for anyone who wants it. Took me a few experiments and failures to get the mixture right, but this is the finished, perfected recipe:---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Get a 20 lb bag of RED LAKE EARTH - Food grade CODEX - from any Tractor Supply Store, (or ask your local farm and feed store to get it in for you) It should be under $15. US for a 20 lb bag. This is what 20 lb bags look like. Diatomaceous Earth & Calcium Bentonite Doggy Cookies3 Cans of Quality Ground Dog Food (must be "ground" not chunky) 3 C. Ground Oats (Oatmeal processed in a grinder to become flour-like) 3 C. of Diatomaceous Earth (Best is the "Red Earth" brand that also contains Calcium Bentonite) 3 eggs 6 tbs. Olive oil 4 tbs. Garlic Powder (NOT garlic salt) 1 tbs, Beef bullion powder (can be chicken bullion, or your choice of flavor)Preheat Oven to 250 deg F (approx 120 C)In your Baking Mixer, start with mixing the cans of ground dog food with the Diatomaceous Earth. When mixed well into a consistant texture, add the eggs, olive oil, and garlic powder, as well as the bullion powder. When this is mixed into a uniform consistancy, begin adding your ground up oats untill this forms a ball in your mixing bowl.
Lightly grease cookie sheets with olive oil, (depending on the size of your cookie sheets, you may to grease 3) and begin taking bits of your cookie mixture to roll into a ball about 1 and a half to 2 inches in diameter. It will be sticky, so have a small bowl of olive oil beside you, to keep your hands covered with the oil, so the cookie balls don't stick as badly to your hands.
Place your cookie balls about 2 inches apart. (approx 5 cm) When you have filled one of your cookie sheets, begin pressing each cookie ball with a fork till each cookie is about 1/4 of an inch thick (just over 1/2 cm) They will resemble very dark peanut butter cookies, with the fork tine marks on the tops.
You should end up with approximately 48 cookies. Doesn't have to be exact.
Put in preheated oven, and bake for about 30 minutes or so. Check at 30 minutes, and be sure the tops are completely dry. If not, keep baking, and checking; altitude has a lot to do with the baking. When the top side is completely dry (will be much lighter in color) then flip each cookie to bake another 30 mins or so, untill the bottoms also appear completely dry. (DRY is the key word here, or your cookies will mold quickly)
When completely cooled, stack them staggered, into OPEN containers, no more than 4 inches high. (10 cm high) (If the containers are closed, your cookies may mold. They must be kept dry) I use 9" (22 cm) glass bread baking pans. No plastic containers for my babies. lololThat's it! You now have well over a month's worth of doggy cookies, depending on the size of your best friend. - German Shepherd sized dogs to Great Dane sized dogs can have ONE cookie per day.
- Medium sized doggies can have half a cookie per day.
- Toy sized doggies can have 1 quarter of a cookie per day.
Experiment with them, and have fun. Your doggie buddy will be under-foot while you are making them, because they smell sooooooo good to their noses.
If your dog is medium sized, you may want to make your cookie balls half the size stated in my recipe, and if your buddy is a toy breed, you may want to make your cookie balls a quarter the size stated in the recipe. Your cooking times should be about the same, as long as your cookies are still about 1/4 of an inch thick (just over half a cm) after fork-pressing them. It's not an exact science; just keep checking while baking, to be sure they are drying well.I am having a lot of positive results with these cookies. Our last litter here had no radiation abnormalities. Momma and Daddy were on the Doggy Cookies before they bred, and still every day, even while nursing her babies. (We were having deformations of at least one puppy in every litter over the past couple of years, before I started making their cookies)
Our doggy cookies are a daily treat now, for everyone, and will be for as long as I can keep making them. Our menagery of Danes, Chinese Cresteds, and Chihuahuas surround me every time I go near their cookie containers. lolol

Thanks for the tip on the red earth clay Kate!!! Also thanks for the recipe....my little Charlie & Ruby thank you too!! To make Liposomal Vitamin C: You will need an ultrasonic jewelry cleaner (Amazon has them for a reasonable price)I have a DB-Tech, about $40.00. It is 17 oz, and generates 42,000 waves/second. This machine helps the lecithin fully encapsulate the vitamin c. 1 cp distilled water 5T lecithin - I use non GMO sunflower lecithin (liquid) (don't like the soy granules, they are GMO) Blend VERY well in blender (I tried my magic bullet, but had to dig out my big blender) In a separate bowl mix 1/4cp distilled water and 1T ascorbic acid (vitamin C powder) stir to dissolve (doesn't fully dissolve) In another separate bowl mix 1/4cp distilled water and 1T baking soda, stir to dissolve. I usually let these two mixtures soak & stir them occasionally while I mix the lecithin. Slowly mix together the vitamin C and baking soda mixtures, then add to the blender with the lecithin. Blend very well, will look like chocolate milk ( if you use the sunflower lecithin.) Pour into jewelry cleaner, stir slowly with wooden spoon (do not use metal spoon to stir with) for 3 cycles of 480 seconds. Store in glass jar in fridge. I take about an ounce a day. It doesn't taste good....but it works!!!

I am trying to build a homemade Geiger counter with memory and upload capability as cheaply as possible so as to POSSIBLY begin building a network to compare/contrast readings with the governmental nets. I think I have found a potential: makezine.com/projects/make-29/geiger-counter/Thought from the less electrically challenged than I on this build, or alternative sites would be much appreciated. You could even take this with you to the grocery store and store serial readings to upload to pc analytic software.
