It sure would be nice to know what the actual Geiger counter rates and reading are from people who live in the area they report from.
I'm going to work on making this a reality, a Geiger counter pool for community members. Free to use Geiger counters to use and forward to other members to use, for those who don't own a Geiger counter. I will donate a few Geiger counters to get things started and send them out to anyone interested. I would start and support a website and post the data as it comes in and manage the Geiger counter pool.
I need to do something more. Message me if interested in helping.

I dropped my inspector and broke the tube " It broke easy " cost me 300$ to get it fixed and recalibrated, I was looking at a ludlum model Its a more hardcore model take a look www.ludlums.com . anyway you need something thats calibrated for cesium 137 iodione 131.... I paid 600 for mine.

I'm looking at radiation dosage exposure charts, graphs online and it's confusing stuff to figure out, so many different units and measures used in nuclear. To me it seems like a linear relation between cpm and dosage rate. So it would mean 50 cpm and dose rate would be 1/2 that of 100 cpm and dose rate.
Im I still moving forward with my plan here for a few Geiger counters.
