The calcium that makes up healthy bones is calcium manufactured inside the body – otherwise known as endogenous calcium. In order to produce this calcium, the body requires 3 different minerals – silica, phosphorus and magnesium. These minerals are then transmuted into calcium within the body. news.therawfoodworld.com/calcium-build-bones/Who knew?

I'm sorry slyviak to respectfully disagree, but there is no transmutation of calcium in the body--transmutation of calcium involves nuclear processes(transmutation of any substance). The Laws of Physics and Chemistry apply here. Endogenous calcium is recovered or excreted by natural sources based upon chemical reactions, not nuclear. Silica , phosphorus, and magnesium, (as well an manganese) all contribute to the uptake or excretion, but there are so many other variables involved here that to specifically say what was posted is wrong. Please do not be deceived. Elements and molecules can combine and release new products, but this is shared or stripped electrons in a chemical process. Transmutation involves the release of protons, of which, the strong and weak nuclear forces apply.

I understand what you are saying bodiless and I like reality myself. Since beginning to consume diatomaceous earth which is mainly silica my nails have become stronger and at 69 was able to tumble down a flight of 5 stairs without breaking anything. Here is an interesting clip about this subject. I have not recreated the experiment...I did have some pain from my stair trip... I might yet. The whole video is interesting. I have a curiosity that won't quit and like to run my own experiments. By now I have seen many sacred cows debunked.

No doubt you have--everyone has a right to believe what they want to believe--until proven differently--lol
