ENE-News - Nuclear Expert: Hydrogen explosion suspected as cause of WIPP plutonium release — Meeting: Are more lids going to blow? Seeing how top of drum blew off has me concerned it isn’t ‘low level’ — Former DOE Expert: US will inevitably shift to storing radioactive waste on surface after this (VIDEO)
-WIPP - The Senate bill provides $323 million for WIPP, including the administration's original funding request of $220.5 million. The additional $102 million is designated for cleanup from the radiological accident and equals the estimate DOE has provided for FY15 recovery activities at WIPP.
-Technology Transfer - Udall inserted a provision in the bill directing DOE to take important steps to improve its tech transfer office. The provision echoes Udall's ATTAIN Act, which he introduced earlier this year to boost DOE's efforts to create marketable products - and jobs - based on research at Los Alamos and Sandia and other national labs.
what? . . . . “This direction (the spending bill allowing pensions fund to be diverted to WIPP repairs) shall not be interpreted to permit the transfer of funds already contributed to a pension plan or reduce payments into any contractor employee pension plan below statutory or contractual requirements,” the amendment says.
The Watchers: USGS to begin drilling "Sentinel" wells near Kirtland Air Force Base, Albuquerque
Beginning around August 7, scientists from the U.S. Geological Survey will be drilling “sentinel” wells at the first of three locations in the Trumbull Village neighborhood in Albuquerque to provide early alerts for groundwater contamination.
These new sentinel wells will provide early warning if there is a northeastward movement of the Kirtland Air Force Base Bulk Fuels Facility plume, and would provide Albuquerque Bernalillo County Water Utility Authority (ABCWUA) and Air Force officials lead time to implement plans to protect nearby groundwater drinking water supply wells... ENE-News: LA Times: ‘Horrific Comedy’ at US Nuclear Site — “Mounds of radioactive white foam laced with plutonium” spewed out — Gov’t failed to do any radiation tests when releases peaked after ‘major’ leak — Experts: “Risk of additional eruptions is real” (VIDEO)
ENE-News - Plutonium found in city nearly 30 miles from US nuclear site — Newspaper: Explosion ‘melted through’ container causing radioactive release — More Pu-241 went airborne than all other types of plutonium combined, yet not included in test results
Here are comments by Radbota sent to this post about the WIPP nuke waste disaster and secret outcome of it.
This might sound racist if I wasn’t a border half breed, but sources we trust because who they are and where they live? (Think, senor’..) have been telling us that Hanford is not the only place having Anencephalopathy babies going on. Juarez is too, but you don’t see any news about it at all. Just wanted to put that out there…
. . . If you look at the map below Carlsbad down into juarez you see they get it from the water. The north gets it on the wind. We are south of Las cruces on the edge of the affected area. Now, juarez is bad, worse than people can imagine and you can commit any eco toxic crime there to make money, so only G-d knows, but the no brain baby stories are more recent. Since the WIPP started. No one is telling anyone in Texas or mexico but it’s already been there awhile. No.one knows for sure, it seems like it. As far as other poisons and conditions there? Might as well be sau paulo
ENE-News - Gov’t: Radioactive release “orders of magnitude” worse than predicted at US nuclear dump — 370 Billion Bq of Plutonium equivalent may have escaped from WIPP drum during “thermal runaway” & multiple fires — For amount to be that high, a “significant number” of breached drums is expected (VIDEO)
The new incoming president of of the NWP Nuclear Waste Partners was announced 2 days after the admission of a plutonium accident in Idaho. They covered it up for 6 month and then fessed up after a whistleblower threatened to blow the story wide open.
The new president for WIPP was in charge of the Idaho coverup.

starlight: Perfect and then some! Dana is burning through the cash on some top notch state of the art tech and for those who can afford to, every pound is cherished and used in this endeavour. Presentation is vital and he’s come so far!

starlight: Posting the links in the chat now you have made the thread is perhaps a mistake, I say this in all good faith and only because eventually the chat will be erased by new chat posts which, though slow, require space of their own. Best wishes for 2019!

millie: Hi, Starlight. No problem. I posted here because the thread is not visible to the outside world, just members apparently. I post in enough other places it's not a big deal. Thanks for the correction, and Happy New Year!

starlight: Are you experiencing difficulties building a thread? For certain things such as expanding pictures one has to log in but building a thread is still possible I’m sure. Don’t give up just yet!

starlight: Linking to YouTube here will result in slower page redraws over time on a thread as pages grow, so that’s frustrating! Linking to multiple vids in a single

starlight: post will result in slow page redraw, cumbersome. So don’t try to post Dana’s entire output retrospectively but stuff you have a comment on .... might be a good balance? It’s tricky! I have just one thread and go there to post my contribution over time.

millie: For #Fukushima's eighth anniversary (3/11), netc.com was taken down so we can't see the EPA radiation levels. Therefore we should conclude that everything is a-ok. Not.
