This thread is going to be about the reoccurring theme in the Star Trek episodes showing nuclear power, nuke themes or other nuke memes.
I keep seeing re-runs and can't help noticing how harmless nuke power, nuke waste and nuke things are in the Star Trek future vision.
Here is an example: Star Trek Next Generation episode: The Pegasus www.startrek.com/database_article/pegasus-the
They have a mention of using ionizing radiation to blanket an area to solve a problem.

OK. After this I am not going to post as there are way too many episodes about nukes in Star Trek. About 50% (!!). This is from Start Trek Next Generation because BBC Amer. is re-running it all day. episode: Thine Own SelfData is sent out to recover a Band-Aid box full of nuke metal to a Renaissance-costumed planet but bungles the job, loses his memory and radiated the town. When they are about to lynch him he comes up with a miracle cure for radiation poisoning in 1 day and is hailed as a hero. www.startrek.com/database_article/thine-own-self
